| Field based professional who provides medical and technical expertise to ensure awareness and appropriate use of products to designated physician audiences and other medical professionals. Establishes and maintains relationships with current and future innovators and opinion leaders including areas in Oncology, Hematology, Rheumatology, and/or Infecitous Disease therapeutic areas. Accomplishes awareness and appropriate use through medical education initiatives, advisory board moderation, data presentation to key decision makers, speaker training, and various research initiatives. Acts as a medical liaison between the customer and the organization. Reviews investigator initiated clinical research proposals that explore further on-label use of approved products and new potential clinical applications. Performs site screening(s) and evaluation(s) for potential Phase III and IV clinical trials with products. Provides feedback to Clinical Development; and supports business management as issues of clinical significance arise with the product line. Collaborates with key internal customers to assist in development of product-specific medical programs. Provides leadership on projects which are externally driven and selected internal projects. Supports sales specialist training initiatives. This position is home-based, requires approximately 60% travel. |
