My client is a niche outsourcing company in the-Preclinical service and product industry that has been experiencing tremendous growth. They have a very strong existing client base ( large Pharma to small biotech ). They have been around for 15+ years with expertise in QA/QC services, microbial contamination, and metabolism service and products (drug discovery-preclinical)
Backgrounds of interest: CRO-( Preclinical) business development, selling Biologics products and service(cell cultures)
The Business Development Consultant will develop and maintain professional relationships with decision makers within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, generally in the area of drug metabolism and evaluating compounds for their ADME-Tox properties. As the point of contact with these decision makers, you will facilitate the growth of my clients sales through client/prospect visits, communication, technical seminars, and presentations.
Preference will be given to individuals also possessing experience in a customer interactive capacity within the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industry. Excellent communication skills are required. This position will involve up to 50% travel within an assigned territory. You will work from a virtual office in your home to cover the region.
