We are seeking an enthusiastic Director of Medical Scientific Services or Sr. Director of Medical Scientific Services to provide medical, clinical, and scientific advisory expertise to all divisions as requested. Directs and assumes responsibility for all Medical and Scientific Services' involvement of trials monitored by assigned directors and staff. Responsible for the leadership, management and direction of assigned staff. Assists in the development and implementation of department mission, goals and objectives, oversight of operations, development of policies and procedures and standards for the department. |

Skills:

U.S. Board Certified Medical Doctor with subspecialty in Internal Medicine. 6 years Medical practice, 2 years management and 2 years experience working on clinical drug trials Required for Director level. 4 years Management and 4 years Industry experience for Sr. Director level.
20% travel. Excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. This position requires the ability to establish and meet priorities, deadlines, strategic department goals and objectives and the ability to motivate and effectively reward staff. Must have skills in providing consultation and advice on multiple assignments as well as the ability to demonstrate initiative and flexibility. Endocrinology experience a plus.
