This individual will be part of a Global Device Process Engineering team and will interface with Amgen's manufacturing sites for device process development and automation.
Domestic and international travel will be required.
Responsibilities
- Acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME), provide process engineering expertise to sites for the specification, development, validation and trouble shooting of new combination product manufacturing, assembly, packaging and labeling processes
- Lead technology transfer for customized testing, assembly and manufacturing processes to contract manufacturers and Amgen Sites
- Identify and characterize critical processes either in the laboratory or at the equipment vendorsSupport development of customized instrumentation and test methods using automation
-Support development of customized instrumentation and test methods using automation
- Facilitate a balance between global alignment and justification of local differences for new combination product test and process technologies
- Support investigations from customer complaints or non-conformances
- Lead the development of new combination product manufacturing technologies
- Support process engineering and automation activities with device partners
- Support development, launch and post launch activities for combination products
- Develop standards and guidelines for diverse engineering processes and activities
