| Project Manager, Outcomes ResearchSan Francisco, CA or Highland Park, ILDevelops PRO measures, case report forms, and other project related materials (protocols, user manuals, interview guides, newsletters) with assistance from project team - Contributes to study design discussions for outcomes research projects - Manages day-to-day operations for outcomes research projects - Directs literature and other background reviews - Oversees submission of IRB applications - Implements and oversee honoraria payments - Oversees site recruitment and training, as necessary - Contributes to the design of data collection systems in conjunction with internal data management teams and/or outside vendor. - Contributes to the development of data analysis plans - Oversees internal data management and analysis functions including data file transfers, data quality audits, and data analyses - Prepares final reports, abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations - Presents results to clients and/or at scientific meetings - Participates in the preparation of research proposals and budgets for outcomes research and other Ovation projects - Oversees project team to ensure project deliverables are met on time and on budget - Works with clients and any outside vendors to define (and refine) project requirements and scope - Conducts team meetings to maintain effective lines of communication - Provides regular updates to clients and senior management Those considered for this position must possess a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health, Health Services Research, Epidemiology or a closely related field, and 3-5 years relevant healthcare or pharmaceutical experience preferred. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate. The candidate must be able to direct and motivate others, have strong conceptual, quantitative, and qualitative skills, and well developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to positively interact with clients, executives, and staff at all levels. The individual must be have the flexibility and responsiveness to manage multiple projects simultaneously. |
