Job Title: EVM Maintenance Planner

Job description:
The EVM Planner will schedule and plan all work within the engineering, validation, and maintenance organizations, focusing on the Andover Manufacturing Facility (AMF). This includes Suites 1-4, Suites A and B, along with respective Production Support areas including Solution Prep and Glasswash. areas. The EVM Planner will interact directly with multiple AMF Production Planners and production staff along with Engineering, Validation, and Maintenance to determine the scheduling and work priorities of respective groups. Work across the AMF product organizations must be balanced against the priorities and available resources. The planner will sequence and plan all EVM work against the production schedules and available work opportunities. A summary schedule will be developed, maintained and prioritized to align with the goals and business objectives of Wyeth Biotech.

Manage and schedule all engineering activities that require access to process equipment, process facilities and/or process utilities. This includes engineering inspections, instrument calibrations, equipment PMs, validation assessments, and corrective maintenance along with coordination of project workload. Plan work execution resolving conflicts to meet established priorities. Attend daily WRRG (Work Request Review Group) meeting and place work requests and resources into the planning queue. Coordinate scheduled maintenance work with projects, shutdowns, and product changeovers. Prepare and maintain a weekly schedule. Process a daily work schedule and previous day late work. Interface with CMMS, CCMS, and other tracking systems to provide and maintain status information. Determine manpower loading for scheduled work and interface with engineering and maintenance to secure necessary resources. Track and follow-up with the resources needed to perform scheduled work. This includes the associated staff, materials, engineering documents, work orders, change control documents and necessary approvals to perform work as planned. Adjust Preventive Maintenance schedules and coordinate execution with manufacturing, engineering and maintenance groups. Maintain key performance metrics for the EVM planning effort. Review and report actual vs. planned on completed work. Planning and implementation of work must comply with site procedures, SOPs, and programs such as the calibration, maintenance, change control and corporate EH&S policies. Maintain a comprehensive maintenance work plan and schedule. Issue summary and detailed look ahead schedules. Develop and optimize the role of planner/scheduler within the scope of these parameters, making recommendations to the EVM /PPU Management team.
Skills: Position requires a solid understanding of mechanical equipment, controls, instrumentation and calibration activities. Proven organizational and scheduling skills with direct experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong computer skills with direct experience in using computerized maintenance management systems, scheduling software, along with skills in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications. Knowledge and experience in compliance with cGMPs, FDA regulations, and other industry standards as they apply to the biotech industry. Proven leadership and communication skills (both verbal and written). An Associates in Science or equivalent technical degree with 10 years of direct biopharmaceutical industry experience. A Bachelors of Science with less experience will also be considered as an equivalent. A quick study that is comfortable in a dynamic environment with varying demands. Works effectively with little or no supervision. Strong interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to accomplish goals by working with a wide variety of groups, disciplines and individuals.
