Grant Writer/Manager: A fast growing biotech company has a great opportunity for an experienced individual to manage the grant writing process. Responsibilities will include:
· Managing the process of collecting data.
· Identifying key resources needed to create appropriate documents in a timely matter.
· Organizing the grant writing process.
· Writing and editing grants created by others to create cohesive arguments.
· Compiling data to be used in grants.
· Maintaining records of work and revisions.

Skills:
|
The qualified candidate must have at least 3 years experience writing grants and will understand the submission requirements/procedures for major grant writing institutions (US Gov., NIH, etc.) and will have experience in submitting and receiving grants (SBIRs, STTRs, etc.) Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, MS or PhD preferred. Also must be familiar with MSWord. Experience with layout programs such as Design and Quarkxpress a plus.
